yesss. i saw new moon at 12:45 last night.
it was everything i expected. it was MORE than what i expected.
and i say this as an all around movie-goer. NOT as the twihard that i am. (i can be unbiased when i want to be lol).

the special effects were incredible, yes even the sparkly vamp skin. (edward looked far less homosexual if i do say so myself).

not only the effects, but the emotion all of the actors portrayed. ESPECIALLY Taylor Lautner. Dear God, that scene at the end, when Bella tells him she'd choose Edward in a heartbeat. RIGHT TO HIS FACE. And you see the tears in his eyes and his lips quiver. I had to let the tears out. And I'd been wanting to cry through that whole damn thing! Kristen, Rob and Taylor have all improved so much. And Lord, the looks on Rob's face, whenever there was a highly emotional scene, when he just looked like he was going to cry. *breathes*

I loved the scene when Jacob got off the phone with him, and the shot switches to Italy with the cell in Edward's hand...and he just crushes it. Amazing.

OH! And I majorly fangirled at the scene where Bella just knockes into Edward in Volterra. And he's smiling and laughing and he's like "You're alive." And he explains why he left and she's like "But I'm human, I'm nothing, I'm nothing." And he grabs her face and goes "Bella, you're everything to me. You're everything." *screams*

:] that was my happy place.

*sigh* although...i really hate Bella. And it's weird, because when I was reading the book, i could TOTALLY relate to her, because i was almost in the same situation. i understood her using Jacob and being selfish, and feeling like it was her only choice. but there's just something about seeing it on screen, playing out in front of you, that just really effects you so much more. So while i didn't hate her at ALL in the books...i seriously hate her right now. :[

NEVERTHELESS, this movie is EVERYTHING New Moon, the book, captures. They stayed so true to it.
Thank God I'm seeing it again on Sunday.

And there's just no use trying to explain the emotional roller coaster i was on in those two hours. It was just. really intense.

Oh, and this time, half the theatre were guys. Very manly guys. TAKE THAT.
